The 14th edition of SweetWater Music Festival features a stellar line up including Russell Braun, James Campbell, Kati Gleiser and John Novacek.

C-A-N-A-D-A! That’s the focus of the 14th edition of the SweetWater Music Festival, September 15 to 17. Artistic Director Mark Fewer has assembled a spectacular all-Canadian line up on Saturday night as Canada marks 150 years of Confederation. From well-loved classical works to cutting edge jazz to contemporary compositions, SweetWater 2017 truly has something for everyone.

Tickets for Saturday and Sunday still available

3-Concert Passes have all been sold. Our Opening Night Gala concert The Heroes is sold out as well. The good news is there are still tickets available for Saturday and Sunday concerts.

Saturday's Concerts Sept 16th

You can catch Canadian baritone Russell Braun on Saturday during the 7 p.m. Glorious & Free concert at the Roxy. He’ll be performing John Estacio’s Away and Awake: Three Songs for baritone violin and piano along with pianist Carolyn Maule and Mark Fewer. The concert will also feature performances by James Campbell, Aiyun Huang, Guy Few, and John Novacek performing works by Canada’s top composers. Later the music moves to Heartwood Hall for After Hours, late night Canadian jazz featuring Juno winner Duane Andrews, Drew Jurecka, Joseph Phillips, Edwin Huizinga, Rory McLeod, and Amahl Arulanandam.

Sunday's Concert Sept 17th

The Sunday’s festival finale 2 p.m. at the Roxy is all about piano. Pianorama features pianist Kati Gleiser performing one of Mozart's greatest works for piano, Concerto in A Major, K 488. Plus, Guy Few and John Novacek will perform Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
